Grafenau, January 2019 – For the traditional Christmas party and company meeting on 8th December 2018, around 220 employees came to the festively decorated Forum AMF. The focus was on honouring the 7 graduates of training and further education and the 55 employees celebrating working anniversaries.

In his speech, Knauf AMF Managing Director Karl Wenig looked back on the past successful financial year: "The market has presented Knauf AMF with great challenges, which the company has mastered with flying colours. Our efforts were rewarded and perceived by our customers" says Wenig. The Managing Director also sees very good prospects for 2019 due to the positive economic trend in the industry.

Such a result is only possible with committed employees who have been loyal to the company for decades and who also take advantage of opportunities for specialist training and further education. The fact that this is a high priority at Knauf AMF was illustrated by honouring seven graduates from training programmes and 55 employees who were honoured for 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years of service to Knauf AMF.

Anyone who has successfully completed training and education can be proud of what they have achieved, thus strengthening their own personality. At Knauf AMF, this professional commitment is rightly acknowledged, as it provides the company with new qualified specialists with very good perspectives in various areas.

Honoured for completed training in 2018:
Marco Weishäupl (Apprenticeship as Industrial Clerk), Sarah Graf (Apprenticeship as Industrial Clerk), Fabian Gibis (Apprenticeship as Electrician for Operating Technology), Tobias Fellner (Further training as Industry Master – Metal), Christina Janotta, Kristina Liebl and Stefanie Weber (all completed further training to IHK (Chamber of Commerce) – Industrial Business Administrator).

Anyone who works in a company for 10 years or more shows a high level of commitment and identification. Without long-term employees, no company can be successful, because in addition to the professional performance itself, it is also important to provide continuity. Anniversaries at Knauf AMF above all represent ability, reliability and dependability. A total of 55 employees celebrated working anniversaries in 2018.
