Review
The aim of data protection law is to ensure the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, and in particular the protection of the privacy of individuals in the processing of personal data.

Which data does the person in charge collect from you?
An evaluation of the complete IP address takes place exclusively within the scope of data protection law in order to document consents in the data protection or entries in the newsletter. The documentation is done by Evalanche
IP addresses are always shortened in such a way that personal references are excluded when tracking usage behavior prior to storage.

  • The personal data entered by the user will be stored when a sample order is placed in order to contact the user and to process and process his order.
  • The App user has the possibility to be excluded from tracking at any time (opt-out link).

Data collected by Google Firebase:
Firebase Analytics is an SDK (Software Development Kit) that is integrated into apps, allowing user behavior to be captured and visualized using a Firebase dashboard. It also provides a link to the well-known Google Analytics.
Firebase collects this data automatically:

  • ad_click
  • ad_activeview
  • ad_exposure
  • ad_impression
  • ad_query
  • adunit_exposure
  • app_clear_data
  • app_uninstall
  • app_update
  • error
  • first_open
  • first_visit
  • in_app_purchase
  • notification_dismiss
  • notification_foreground
  • notification_open
  • notification_receive
  • os_update
  • screen_view
  • session_start
  • user_engagement

Data collection by Knauf AMF
Users may voluntarily provide information that is not required for their use of the app and may still include information about themselves. This data is requested when ordering samples and stored by Knauf AMF after the user agrees to the data protection regulations and submits the order. The data will be processed to process the user's order.
The following data will be transferred to Knauf AMF if the user provides this information:

  • Salutation
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Address
  • ZIP
  • City
  • Country
  • Phone (optional)
  • Email
  • Company
  • Branch of Industry
  • Ordered Products
  • Registry. Newsletter

By means of double opt-in consent by e-mail, Knauf AMF collects further data by confirming the e-mail address of the customer:

Time of Double Opt-In

  • Complete IP address
  • terminal device
  • Consent to the advertising use (newsletter)
  • It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. The user receives a link to unsubscribe from each newsletter.

Existing users at Knauf AMF will be supplemented with newly acquired information - the user will receive the information that his data has been updated instead of the double opt-in consent.

How do Knauf AMF collect user-related data?

Users can enter data on this service without creating a user account. In the case of a sample order embedded in the app, you will be asked to enter your full name, industry, mailing address and email address.

Data that you enter on the page is transmitted to the person responsible via a secure connection.

When ordering, the order data is first transmitted via HTTPS by means of a POST call to an internal server (Anfema GmbH = responsible agency for APP development based in Munich / Augsburg). The transmission is thus TLS encrypted. The app authenticates itself on the server using Basic Authentication. Since the app does not have a login, the user name and password are stored in the app. The data (purchase orders) are transmitted from the Anfema server to Evalanche via HTTPS, so this transmission is also encrypted TLS.

What do Knauf AMF use the data for?

The person in charge processes all data collected primarily for the purpose of contacting and processing orders from users.

In addition, the person responsible uses Google Firebase to analyze the surfing behavior of an individual user in order to improve his or her service for each individual user. The data collected by placing an order will be used for market research purposes by Knauf AMF.

Passing on to third parties: The provider enables third parties (in concrete Google) to collect data on the surfing behaviour of individual users. This data is used to display personalized advertising, recommendations and other offers (including those of the provider) on third-party pages.

Rights of the party concerned to obtain information

According to the Federal Data Protection Act, you have a right to free information about your stored data as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of data.

Knauf AMF takes the protection of your data very seriously. To ensure that personal information is not disclosed to third parties, please send your request by e-mail, fax or letter, clearly identifying your person to: info@knaufamf.com
